Cindy Kleine is currently directing The Man in Question, a filmed memoir about André Gregory.

The Man in Question is an exploration of the life and work of André Gregory - pathfinder, innovator, screen actor, writer, director, teacher, painter and raconteur. Made by prize-winning documentarian Cindy Kleine, the film explores in intimate detail the life of a cultural icon and master storyteller, taking the viewer on an entertaining journey into an amazing, almost unbelievable past. The Man In Question is about the examined yet still unknowable life, relationships, friendships, and forgiveness, and about how much vitality and exploration is still possible in the later years of one’s life. 

In The Man In Question, as in My Dinner With André, André’s extraordinary storytelling prowess takes us back and forth in time, looking not only at his life but at the nature of time itself, the nature of love and its relation to art, the nature of the creative process, the nature of the spiritual journey, and the preparation at an older age for the leaving of that life.
